Thread Lifting – Lifting the Face in a Non-Surgical Manner

Thread lifting, otherwise known as a ‘non-surgical facelift’ is fast becoming a preferred treatment by our patients due to its effectiveness and non-invasive nature.
If you have a slight sagging of the skin (for example around the jowl area) and would like a more lifted appearance then this treatment gives you all the benefits of a facelift without the risk of surgery. The threads that we use here at the clinic are known as PDO (polydioxanone) threads. These threads are a suture like material that are carefully placed into the skin to lift the face, reducing the appearance of wrinkles and tightening the skin

PDO threads offer the very latest technology for soft, natural-looking thread lifting in a non-invasive procedure. The PDO thread lift is designed for effective facial rejuvenation without surgery, which means less downtime at a comparatively lower cost with lower risk and minimal aftercare following treatment.

The procedure helps to reverse the key effects of ageing such as wrinkles, saggy skin, deep creases, folds and poor skin texture. It can lift and tighten the skin to improve the profile of a flabby face, raise cheeks or eyebrows, help to prevent eye bags and laughter lines, lift sagging neck skin, raise the smile and angle of the mouth and even tackle smokers lines.

The non-invasive procedure yields amazing rejuvenation results and is practically painless. It leaves no scar or cuts at all.
This is quite a structural procedure, using tiny invisible threads beneath the skin to ‘lift’ the tissues back to a higher and more youthful position while also smoothing out lines and wrinkles.
The thread lift process also stimulates the skin’s production of collagen and new skin cells, as the body’s natural response to the thread; which enhances the result.
